New From Aveeno: Serious Scrub, Mouth-Watering Lotion & Sulfate-Free Shampoo

As a brand ambassador for Aveeno, I get the chance to check out loads of products before they ever hit the shelves. I recently got my hands on several new launches from Aveeno and now that I've had some time to play with them,  I wanted to tell you what I was most excited about.

Let's start with the new Positively Ageless Resurfacing Scrub. If you are a long time reader of GR, you know I hate wimpy scrubs. I just don't see the point, unless you have really sensitive skin. And even then,  I don't understand how three grains per ounce a scrub make. I like the scrubs that remove at least two layers of skin with each use. Since I know I'm in the minority there, I have found a great scrub we can compromise on. Aveeno's new Positively Ageless Resurfacing Scrub includes enough granules to make me happy, but it's not harsh enough to make you look at me funny after I recommend it. This scrub leaves your face soft, clean and fresh. And it's gentle enough to use daily!

Another product you won't want to miss is the Positively Nourishing Energizing Body Lotion. While this isn't exactly new, it has a new look and has previously flown under my radar. This scent of grapefruit and pomegranate in this lotion literally makes me salivate. I love how the citrus evokes such a strong reaction from me. It also hydrates my skin, sinking in and keeping even my most dry patches (on my legs and elbows) feeling soft. The scent lingers for a bit, but isn't overwhelming. If you like citrus-scented lotions, you are going to want to check this out.

Finally, Aveeno is launching a slew of honest to goodness sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners in their Pure Renewal Line. I don't mean SLS-free products. I mean really free of all sulfates. No looking the other way while a different form of sulfate creeps in under the radar. I mean really sulfate-free. It's pretty exciting to see that on a shelf under $15.

I have dry, processed hair and I need a little extra moisture. However, normal-haired girls will love this. And if you add a little huile to your over-processed hair before styling, you'll be just fine, too.
