(Hairagami straight "plates".)
It comes with nifty instructions that explain six different styles. I'm a super klutz, so I can really only manage one or two of them, but that is plenty for me! All you do is place the Hairagami with the end of your hair sandwiched between the two "plates".
(The Hairagami rolled up.)
Then roll your hair and fold the Hairagami around itself in whatever shape you desire for a really easy bun, chignon, or sideways B. (I don't know that anyone has named that last specific shape yet, so hopefully, someone will give it a better one.)This definitely takes a little practice, but since messy updos are where it's at right now, go with it. I got compliments everywhere I went on the first day I wore this out. My friends at a spa couldn't stop playing with it when I was trying to reassemble my hair after a facial. This is one of those things that after a bit of practice, your friends can marvel at your styling skills. It's $6 well spent.
I bought this.

Oh my! I had one of these when I was 10 or so.... totally forgot about it!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Now if I could just get my hair to grow as fast as I want it to!
ReplyDeleteI am so crazy klutzy. If I can do it, so can you!!
ReplyDeleteI saw this in Claire's Boutique! (for about the same price) - looks AWESOME!!
ReplyDeletethat is BEYOND impressive! i can't believe you did that yourself - might have to track these little miracle workers down
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the tip! I'm going to snag a couple of these to play with. I don't know the first thing about updo's but I have several weddings I have to attend or be in and I'm hoping to save money where I can. I have been looking on blogs and youtube for hairdo how-to's with no luck. I can't even figure out how to pin hair with a bobby pin correctly so things will stay put. Or even know WHERE to start. +
ReplyDeletelove this look, so pretty.
