This Hairagami Thing is Crazy Like a Fox (and Really Works!).

One of my favorite things to do, especially after a bad day at work, is to peruse the aisles of my local CVS or Walgreens. I like to see what interesting hair doodads they have hiding around the clips and baby barrettes. My latest find is something called Hairagami. Essentially, it's two snap bracelets, connected and covered in a faux velvet.

It comes with nifty instructions that explain six different styles. I'm a super klutz, so I can really only manage one or two of them, but that is plenty for me! All you do is place the Hairagami with the end of your hair sandwiched between the two "plates".

Then roll your hair and fold the Hairagami around itself in whatever shape you desire for a really easy bun, chignon, or sideways B. (I don't know that anyone has named that last specific shape yet, so hopefully, someone will give it a better one.)

This definitely takes a little practice, but since messy updos are where it's at right now, go with it. I got compliments everywhere I went on the first day I wore this out. My friends at a spa couldn't stop playing with it when I was trying to reassemble my hair after a facial. This is one of those things that after a bit of practice, your friends can marvel at your styling skills. It's $6 well spent.
