Have you seen the summer collection from Be A Bombshell? If you aren't familiar with Be A Bombshell, they are a cosmetic company that believes every woman has an inner bombshell and wants you to let her out! You can fill out a beauty profile on their website and they'll help determine what looks best on you. Or, if you like, you can just shop from their Looks Collections, which give you easy to wear, put-together looks that take the guesswork out of picking and matching colors.
Here's a look at some of their new Summer 2012 Collection. The entire summer collection includes two glosses, a pink and a coral, five shadows and one universal cheek. While I don't have the full collection to share, I do have several colors that I used to put together my own bombshell look.
(Lipgloss in Sugar Lips.)
(Sweet Cheeks Blush.)
(Three Shadows Shown: Bright Eyes, Starstruck & Starlet. Not shown are Risky Business and Beauty Queen.)
(Swatched above: Onyx liner, Bright Eyes, Starlet, Starstruck, Sweet Cheeks, Sugar Lips Gloss.)
I have to say, these colors are really pigmented and wear without creasing. Quality-wise, they remind me of MAC. I'm not a huge fan of the opaque pink gloss, but that is only because I'm a peach girl. An opaque peach, I'll wear with pride. The pink makes me a little squidgy in my own skin, but it did complement the heavy shadow and fun liner.
One thing not included in the official summer collection is the Be A Bombshell Onyx liner (shown above). This magic marker style liner makes it really easy to draw a cat eye on your lids. Or a simple thin line. Because this liner is literally like using a marker, it's easier than a liner with a brush.
(Wearing the colors shown above.)
(It couldn't be easier to do a serious liner with this. I can only see with one eye and I can do it!)
Want to try some of these colors yourself? Use code SUMMER30 at checkout and save 30%! And if you are in the US, shipping is free. The code is only good through 8/15/2012, so don't dilly dally!
