Since I get so many questions privately, I thought I would do a series of posts that cover the girly basics. Not the nitty-gritty that is covered by the mavens on chat boards or the fashionistas....but real information for the women out there who don't live and breathe this stuff. Consider me your older sister who wants you to love the skin your in.
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to do a series on the basics of all things beauty. It's meant to be a simple guide to help you get the best out of your hair, skin and makeup. It's not meant to be super complicated, trendy or expensive. It's meant to help you lurkers be the best you can be and get what you want out of your routine. I'll cover everything from skincare, haircare and makeup applications. I'll give you inexpensive options, pricier options and my favorites as suggested products to help you find your way. I'm also up for answering any of your questions, so send them my way!

I've been reading for at least a couple of years- can't wait to read your new series!
ReplyDeleteIt took me about a year of reading beauty blogs before I felt comfortable walking into Sephora. Even so, high end products still intimidate me; the stakes seem so much higher. I appreciate the work and service you and others provide to help us all know what's out there!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great series. I look forward to taking the journey.
ReplyDeleteVery excited about this! Thank you.
