I love BB Creams. Especially in the winter. Since Too Faced is one of my favorite brands, I was excited to try the BB Cream. When I found it at Ulta, I was genuinely excited. I’m not talking about their previous BB Cream that came in a tube and was lovely, if the color worked for you. I’m talking about this:
Too Faced’s Air-Buffed BB Cream Complete Coverage Makeup. This full coverage makeup offers the same benefits as most BB Creams:
- Protects with SPF 20
This BB Cream boasts full coverage that is buildable. I tried the lightest shade, Snow Glow. It’s very, very fair. The next shade, Vanilla Glow, was just slightly too deep for me if I really wanted full coverage, or so I thought. I ended up switching to Vanilla Glow and really like the coverage much better. Check out my foundation half & half below.
(It's way too early for me to look human here.)
This BB Cream provided nice coverage, after I had spent some time building it up. If the thought of something being full coverage bothers you, don’t let it! This starts out light and builds to a natural finish. Because this BB Cream has so much “slip" thanks to silicones, I did feel the need to set it with a powder afterwards. I got several hours of wear, but it had definitely faded by the end of the day.

I’m not sure this is my favorite of the new crop of BB Creams, but if you want more coverage and not another tinted moisturizer, this is a solid option. I'm told that it is also a great choice for people with oilier skin. My skin is dry, but if you have oily skin and shy away from BB Creams, check this one out.
